Legendary long name Ovuvuevuevue Enyetuenwuvue Ugbemugbem Osas is back. Well, technically he's never been away since his name-video went viral a few years ago. Six years ago it says. Jeez, has it been six years....
Anyways, he's mostly been doing positivity videos and sometimes fun spin offs of his original name. 'Jeeezos is lord' always gets meπ But apparently now crypto scammers have thought up a way to use his meme in the crypto world. By that I of course mean make a quick ERC/BRC/BEP token with like a gazillion token supply in order to rug pull his community. Ever wonder why they go about it this way? Well, apparently it's somewhat related to that 1,99 Euro vs. 2.01 Euro psychology. The difference is only 2 cents, but research has shown people are just more likely to pick the item up if it's displayed in the lower 1 Euro range but with crypto there's this almost diabolical addendum to it.
You see, everyone who's ever heard of Bitcoin will also know the legendary stories of how it once 'was just 0.0002 cents.' It sounds really, really naive to those around in the crypto sphere for a few years, but to the average newcomer thinking stuff like 'Oh wow, I'm new to crypto and I guess too late to Bitcoin since it's already over 20K, but Electra is also 0.0002 cents now, maybe one day that will also be 20K.' I'm specifically using ECA as an example because this was a real life conversation I had with someone back in 2019. Spoiler, his 0.0002 cent ECA never broke the 20K range and sort of did the opposite by adding two zeros on the wrong side of the decimal.π
Well, at least I was able to convince him to not go all in on it and put a big chunk into BTC which is pretty much why I'm writing this now. I really hate to see honest good people get burned by what's 99.99% certain a scam project.
''This guy approached me....wanted a meme coin the Osas coin....says he is a developer, I actually wanted a video with the guy who wrote me....he says he doesn't disclose himself, so I was a bit worried about that.''
Be careful who you jump aboard with Mr. Ovuvuevuevue Enyetuenwuvue Ugbemugbem Osas. If the so called ''developer'' is anonymous in what's meant to be a harmless meme coin or even more suspicious, a so called 'charity crypto', there's something very wrong, period. No one can predict the future but if I had to estimate the probability I'd say there's a 99.9% chance he is going to create a quick BRC token, send you some profits to convince you it's real, have you push it to your followers and eventually rug pull your community while staying anonymous himself the entire time.
Anyways that's all I guess, stay safe.βοΈ
