I know we covered Ukraine extensively, but every now and then I see something which though well intended, is so ignorant to the situation I just have to elaborate even if it's just for my own re-understanding as to why the war started 8 years ago. Let's start with the post itself and take it step-by-step:
Redo elections under supervision
Ever heard of this unique definition of insanity by one continuously doing the same thing over and over again thinking this time it'll really be different? You could hold elections in Ukraine's east for a century and the outcome would still be the same. When the pro-Western Yuschenko won the elections in 2004, most citizens in the east voted against him. When Yanukovich won the elections in 2010 most citizens in the west voted against him while the east reassured his victory. Oh, and there were international observers present at that election as well.

Crimea apart of Russia with insured water supply
Great for the citizens there who managed to remain safe and sound for almost 9 years now, but if you think any side wants Ukraine under their influence without the black sea's largest naval base, without the heavy industry and agricultural production which all happen to be located in the east, you might just be a child who writes essays on peace and love rather than come with actual realistic real-world proposals which have a chance of succeeding. Seriously, this eastern part is crucial to Ukraine, especially now they've lost their gas transit income after the coup. If they lose that, all they have left is the poor unprofitable west-Ukraine riddled with extremists who just like a Poland or Romania are just another mouth to feed for Brussels as their own citizens in France, Germany and Netherlands are already starting to stand up to the continuously growing poverty and radical changes regarding e.g. farmers, pensions, minimum wage, energy bills etc. in their own country.
On what am I basing this all? Well, Ukraine's debt is about to reach a staggering 100 billion Euros, it's now sitting at 98 billion to be precise. You can guess from which countries most of that money came from. Can you imagine a "new Ukraine" which exists of only the western parts with these massive debts they'll never be able to repay, riddled with radical nutjobs armed to the teeth growing weary and desperate while the eastern parts are flourishing with the same production rate and profits while now having less population? Production which even those that didn't recognize their independence from Kiev still gladly import.

No way in hell those waiting for their money back are about to sit idly by and listen to the will of any people. This has nothing to do with "democracy", like most conflicts, this is all about money and power. "The Ukraine offensive started in Ukraine's east with Western money, Ukraine's defenses will crumbles in it's west with or without Western blood."
To clarify, I personally don't believe West Europe is suddenly fond of these extremists or neo-nazism, they are just using them to achieve their goals in east-Ukraine, even though that in itself is quite despicable especially with their past where their grandparents were massacred and starved due to this same ideology.

Ukraine remains neutral
You know, the saddest part of the Ukraine war is that under Yanukovich, who was the world's first "pro-Russian puppet" that wanted to sign a Western agreement and upheld the country's neutrality laws prohibiting them from joining any military alliance including the Russian CSTO, Ukraine was actually at it's most neutral in it's entire history. You could practically call them the Austria of the east, wait aust already means east. You could call Ukraine the Austria of the far east. Wait, far east is Korea, China etc. 😤Ahh to hell with these analogies, you get the idea. So what was one of the first major escalations the post-coup government in Kiev was responsible for?

For those still confused about it all, Poroshenko did not cancel the neutrality law so Ukraine could militarily join Russia, but so Ukraine could be dragged into NATO after being given vague promises, but who for the third time now rejected Kiev's call for membership.
A comedian's reaction
It took less than 2 hours for a billionaire comedian playing the role of president to respond to Musk and start labeling him "pro-Russia" and for the first wise and experienced diplomatic responses to emerge.

It's almost as if he's preaching to a Western audience on Western controlled platforms while his very own country's online audience is mostly on VK, one of the country's most visited websites even after being banned in Ukraine.

Which brings me to my last and most crucial point. Remember when Chappelle said "Twitter is not a real place"? Below are a few screenshots from Ukrainian profiles on Twitter. All of which magically appeared right between the start of the riots and subsequent coup of 2013/2015 to spew their pro-Nato propaganda and convince the Western public that "Ukraine" really wanted to be apart of their alliances. Normally you'd say "so what" and so would I, but these aren't (all) just meaningless Ukrainian assfluencers or activists who just turned 17 and discovered social media where they flock together to advertise their junk to you and help each others' accounts grow. No, these are mostly 40 year old men who just so happen to later on become the country's president, minister of defense, UN representative, foreign minister and internal affairs minister. All of which were granted their governmental positions after the coup and then magically appeared on Western controlled platforms to "inform" a primarily Western audience on what "Ukraine" really wants.🤡
