Introduction
Hello, Now that I have been away for awhile I think it is time for me to come back
and harass my following again with mediocre articles!
So Gaddy...What is this about?
Well Im glad you asked random user!
This is about Voyager my Favorite new place to do my Crypto Investment needs!
But Gaddy? Why do you Support Voyager?
What are the pro's and cons?
Ah Well Im Glad you have Asked!
I got few reasons lemme start with the big reasons why I started using Voyager.
Then I think it'll be fair to talk about the pros and cons
The three big reasons I Started using Voyager...I might get some flack about this.
But hey what ever if you don't like this feel free to dislike or comment down below
on how wrong I am.
My First Reason is sadly Georestrictions... Washington State is pretty Hostile territory.
To the Cryptocurrency scene, as Shown here I have linked a page from the Washington State
Department of Financial Institutions that shows all of the current regulations against Crypto
and Crypto Exchanges. Sadly It is looking like the Democrat Governor Jay Inslee isn't looking to
lift any of these restrictions which will for the long run hurt the potential for normal average Residents
to take part in exchanges such as Binance.us or Kraken, Two of the best platforms in public opinion.
My Second Reason is I have had the unpleasant experience with Coinbase and their Pro Version...
Their Platform is ridden with fees and of course scalping and the most pleasurable part, Downtimes
where it is the most convenient. Coinbase was cool at first being the first crypto exchange I had joined
after awhile of being on the platform the once cool and new feeling wore off and turned into a money sucking
pit of horror, The platform used to have a cool bundle policy you could buy into. After they got rid of that
trying to bulk buy crypto became a horrible journey. Another big issue is they kept adding "Shitcoins" to their
Platform Which is ok at first but … When Dogecoin? but on a serious note, why add coins like NuCypher
or UMA or REN. When most of your platforms "Customers" have explicitly told you to add coins like Vechain, or
V Systems or XMR or Bitcoin SV? Just seems really lame.
My Third Reason I am looking for a place where I can just buy and hold, and essentially build a portfolio of
Cryptocurrencies that I ever feel that will perform well, or I want to back. and so far Voyager is the only platform with
Most of the Crypto projects on it. Coinbase makes it really difficult to build and DCA up or down. Which for a person
Who wants to retire in 10 years that's a nasty hit. Voyager is my only shot till Washington State law Relaxes
and wants to incentivizes business.
Now For The Pros And Cons
Shall we start with the pros?
The First Pro I have found for this platform is the constant outreach to their users. For instance
Voyager users have recently been emailed user surveys which was really nice to see that a Exchange
Wants to see growth on their platform. They would ask Questions like
'what would you want added?' or What would you like to see to make the platform better?'
Something like this really makes me feel really proud to be apart of their platform.
The Second Pro The platform has no fees! Unlike Coinbase this platform doesn't Nickle and Dime you!
for your desire to build wealth! Which is one of my favorite parts about this platform!
The Third Pro The platform will give you interest on your assets, Like BTC, USDC, ETH, and LTC and much more!
This really helps people who want to achieve Compounding interest and capital gain all at the same time.
The Fourth Pro Voyager holds a pretty good referral bonus, Similar to Coinbase's but more If you deposit 100.00
USD You will get 25.00 in BTC which is quite frankly amazing.
The Fifth Pro Voyager has a great User Interface and with that they have a really cool news feed that keeps you up
to date on all of the current events in the crypto scene. Voyagers UI really gives you a feel that, really makes you feel
at home and like you are going somewhere big.
The Sixth and Final Pro They are constantly adding good and new cryptocurrencies to their exchange, which is great!
They recently came out and said they support the Flare/XRP Airdrop which is such a cool thing to do for this exchange.
The exchange has a amazing roster of currencies, I haven't seen a roster this good in awhile and I hope they continue on
The warpath to greatness.
Now Shall we commence the cons?
The First Con The platform is at the moment Mobile only, So for those who don't understand this,
you can only use Voyager on a Mobile Device like a iPhone or Samsung Tablet.
Giving these platforms support the application. This is a down side because I feel this really does
limit the potential for Voyager. There is hope though, in their recent survey they sent to their users.
They did have a option to see a desktop version of Voyager so I hope this will come soon!
The Second Con The Platform doesn't have a education section. Like Coinbase or Binance,
Where beginners to Crypto can watch videos or read something
and earn a little bit of the currency. This would be a big thing if Voyager adds this.
The Third Con At the current moment the platform has no indicators
like the Bollinger bands, RSI, MACD or other super vital indicators. Which
makes this platform not ideal for Crypto traders
The Fourth Con Certain assets are not able to be deposited or Withdrawn,
Like you cannot deposit Zcash or Withdraw Dogecoin for some odd reason,
I feel this is such a huge disconnect from expectations for crypto users.
granted it isn't wise to use your Crypto exchange as your one and only place
for buying and holding and using crypto.
However I still feel that this is a real disconnect from most users.
The Fifth Con The Crypto Interest isnt very enticing,
For instance most platforms don't have a minimum balance to
achieve a interest percentage or a dividend like Blockfi or Compound.
However Voyager has a minimum average balance you have to meet
in order to get the interest on your crypto. Which is again really a short coming for this platform.
Conclusion
In conclusion of this, first I want to thank anyone who read through all of this.
Means absolutely everything at the moment! Additionally if you can consider liking this
and following me and maybe a tip (Not necessary!). Lastly I will be linking
the following exchanges listed below for reference points.
The only Referral link will be the one to Voyager however.
I will post another link just in case you do not want to use my referral link,
to look into the platform or sign up. Overall I give Voyager a 8.5/10.
This rating took a hit due to its cons. However It still rates pretty high because of the optimism I have
for this exchange. What do you think? Let me know in the comment section below! Hope to see you all again soon!
