If you ask someone what they think of Bitcoin, the word "anonymity" will fall without any doubt. Well, is this connection really adequate?
Right at the beginning I will ask you, do you know who Satoshi Nakamoto is? For those who do not know the answer, it is the creator of Bitcoin. But what more do we know about him? In short, nothing. It can be a group of programmers, an individual, or perhaps an above-average talented hen. Nobody knows, and there are only guesses. On the other hand, all Bitcoin transactions are completely public. Anyone can search for a specific transaction to see which addresses it took. Individual addresses represent the resources of the actors. They are combinations of alphanumeric characters, so they do not disclose anything about the identity of the user. However, the situation changes when one address is used multiple times. At that time, there is an opportunity to trace the actor by linking individual transactions.
… That kind of contradicts Bitcoin = Anonymity…

So how do we achieve the desired anonymity?
Therefore, it is necessary to stick to certain established ways, such as using each address only once and get a new one. Bitcoin transactions also support payments from multiple addresses. This means that if there is not enough funds at one address, the rest can be paid for from the other. Nice option, but with that also adds another address that has a connection with you. The safest way to do this is to use your own mined resources, which have no transactions yet.
Mixing Method - This method works by entrusting your resources to a service that accumulates resources for multiple users and mixes them. This makes them virtually untraceable. However, you must fully trust the service because you give it power of attorney over your resources. Generally, these services charge a few percent units. In today's world, in which the term "Anonymity" is seen as almost a crime, it is becoming increasingly difficult to preserve. But a person who cannot be guilty of anonymity will not be discouraged. Using the aforementioned methods can be made more efficient, for example by combining Bitcoin and cash. A great benefit is also the use of VPN, a service that masks your Internet connection so that, from a network perspective, you appear to be in China. However, a more detailed description of this service is beyond the scope of this article, a brief overview can be found here.
It may seem unnecessarily complicated for the average user. I understand that it is easier to provide the bank with almost all of its data and just beep everywhere. Then don't be surprised if the bank knows more about you than you do. And if the bank knows, who else? Where did you pay with this account…?
