Yearbook

Yearbook

My school yearbook of ’81,
Is the only reminder I have.
All moved on to be someone,
I’m the only loser left.

With thirty-five pages,
Though not thick,
Also have quotes by sages;
Flipping through, I’m nostalgic.

Was the most memorable year
Of my entire school life.
To my eye comes a tear,
Just thinking of my ex, Clive.

Will have to do my best,
Make great of this existence.
I’ll catch up with the rest,
To regain acceptance.
