It’s my bane,
That you’re so vain.
Unexpected for a man,
Who has only me as a fan.

Been a couple for ages,
But towards the last stages,
Haven’t gone out much,
After you’ve turned into such.

Already in our seventies,
No more invitations to parties,
Since we always arrived last,
In the recent past.

It’s unfortunate to be ostracized,
As your decorum isn’t exercised.
Entirely your fault we’re alone,
Cooped up at home.
