Up the Hill

Up the Hill

By emily2u | From the Heart | 30 Sep 2021

As pain courses through her veins
From head to ten toes,
Flashbacks in her mind
Of sins she committed, God knows.

Seeking forgiveness, she prays
Silent tears roll from her eyes,
Too many wrongs done
Breaking many relationship ties.

The years had been long,
With tiring twists and turns,
Will things ever go right again
Of the life that she yearns.

Before Him she kneels
Surrenders herself she will,
Like a lamb she is led
Voluntarily up the hill.
