Of all the hearts around,
It was mine you’ve picked.
Crushed it to the ground,
The pieces you kicked.
Without a second thought,
Cast it out with no restrain.
Even as mightily I fought,
It rolled into the drain.
If it was made of plastic,
Not the flesh of my heart,
I’d deem you fantastic,
And even play my part.
If you’ve any compassion,
Do stop your cruel game.
After the nervous tension,
Can I ever be the same?
