Close your eyes, my baby,
It’s already late.
Beside you is Mummy,
Your sleeping mate.
We’ll let in some moonlight
To drive away your monster.
Don’t be afraid of the night,
Soon will have crows of the rooster.
I just read you a story,
Of the smart deer.
He’ll take away your worry,
And unnecessary fear.
Let’s keep the window open,
Together hum a song.
Then head on to dreamland,
I’ll be coming along.
