Jubilation

Jubilation

By emily2u | From the Heart | 20 May 2021

It’s time to jubilate,
For today, I graduate.
Four years of slogging;
After the final examination,
This is the culmination;
Tonight, I’ll go clubbing.

I’ve finally made it,
Miss the routine, not a bit.
Was tough being a student,
With a rigid timetable.
To enjoy life, unable,
My senses were deadened.

Shouting at the top of my voice,
This is a moment to rejoice.
Revelry for thirty hours straight,
Starting at this point;
‘Tis no problem if you join,
But I’m not going to wait.
