Stepping out from the elevator,
Entered a door.
Came into this apartment,
On the 42nd floor.
The cool interior,
Immaculately furnished,
Ornamented tastefully,
Furniture just been polished.
The setup is inviting,
Curtains are expensive lace,
Everything is spotless,
Not an item out of place.
I’m finally home,
After years abroad.
I can now unwind,
For, here, I’m lord.
