Our hero is at the door,
He’s whom I adore.
Back from serving the country,
Fresh from victory.
My son the brave,
Our people you helped save,
Was selfless indeed,
What a magnificent feat!
A mother’s pride,
I’m unable to hide.
My eyes are moist ---
Let the world hear my voice!
I can’t contain the joy
Of finally seeing my boy
In one piece,
The nation in peace.
