Is more than simple friendship.
Being more like a sister,
Though you’re my mother.
 
You were with me from day one;
With you, I’ve already won,
As you’re my shining light,
Your words are always right.
 
You’re steady in your belief
On the way we’re to live;
Be good to all mankind,
Pure in heart and mind.

Hold dear all you’ve done for me,
Even when your views I don’t see.
Thanks for your great values,
In time, I’ll pay my dues.

This is a poem for you, Mother,

To honor you today,
