Gold, a valuable metal,
Signifies a marriage of fifty years.
In the Olympics, you’ll win this medal
If you fight for it with sweat and tears.

Orange represents the sun,
The color of a ripe pumpkin,
Children carve for fun,
Lighting it up on Halloween.

Blue skies indicate fine weather,
So take out your kite, fly it high.
It’s the color of clean water,
Let’s take a dive, don’t be shy.

Pink is the favorite among girls,
Who wrap us 'round their pinkies.
The color when cherry blossom unfurls,
Or an autumn field of Michaelmas daisies.
