Encounter

In the middle of nowhere,
Stands a great polar bear.
Take me to a place that’s far,
Quick, get me in a fast car.

Mountains all around, white,
This giant makes a great sight!
I’d like to befriend this bear,
But if I were hurt, he won’t care.

Give him a little hug,
He’d think I was an irksome bug.
Tell him he looks as clean as snow,
He’d think my wit is slow.

Mr Bear, when you roar,
My nerve ends turn raw.
Please don’t treat me bad,
I’ll try not to make you mad.
