We went to a dance,
And I took a chance.
You had a pill handy,
Treated it like candy.
I thought it was a prize
Now, I’m paying the price.
My whole being is spun around,
I’m lifted off the ground.
My throat is aching,
……… Limbs shaking.
My heart is pumped up,
The blood needs to chill out.
Don’t know what’s happening,
This is all so maddening.
If you’ve only spoken,
On the dangers of this token;
It would be easy to decline,
And draw the ultimate line.
