The wind is swirling,
Whipping around my hair,
Creates a wild feeling,
But I really don’t care.
Poor me, age is catching up,
Yet I’m undecided on my future.
It’s difficult enough to get a little grub,
Outside is too many a vulture.
Standing on the balcony,
Looking blankly into space,
Decide life can be sad or funny,
It’s up to me, whatever the case.
Got to be in control,
At targets, keep aiming.
Have to put myself on a roll,
Though help is not forthcoming.
Destiny is in my palm,
I can choose any route to take.
Only need remain calm,
It’ll be a piece of cake.
Everything I ever did became naught,
‘Cos my path I couldn’t see.
Whether I succeed or not,
The answer is inside me.
Starting afresh now’s the right time,
Am tired of being an insignificant dot.
To remain in apathy is a crime,
So, I’ll give myself another shot.
