Love Outshines Evil

Oh my love, my only desire
every breath I exhale struggles for your love
every inhale resembles hope that fills the soul for shared love

My desires sparkle like diamonds
and shines in the void of the night
love cannot exist in its dark loneliness
yet it can wait in the calm of its still

Out of darkness the deeds of love gives freedom
yet freedom sends a burning flame recklessly through the heart
which pricks the heart to resist the loss of love unshared
for my selfish works has led to a blind love
that wage war awaiting victory

Release love from drought and fill its fountains
where evil desires emerge thirsting for droplets of love
for evil is aroused by loves deeds
and feeds off the light of its desire.

"Oh why are you shining your light through me? You have created my wrath.", evil shouts
I shall poison your crystal clear waters
and trap you in my darkness

So shall love survive in the light it shines
and pierce through the darkness that evil brings
