I have a question for myself:

What is Flarnchain?

I don't really have a concrete answer, but I do believe it lies somewhere in me gaining a better understanding of blockchain technology, distributed ledger systems, and truly grasping the concept of a "state-machine".

I also believe things will solidify a bit when I continue to wrap my head around the concept of "securing the network" through staking. That terminology is used quite frequently, but rarely have I seen it actually described in a concise manner that makes sense.

That said, when I contemplate the governance structures and network effects of blockchain systems I begin to grasp at the concept of "securing the network" through staking, but it feels like a mere glimpse.

The lengthier these glimpses linger in my mind, the more I am able to understand the pieces of the puzzle, and realize that something like Flarnchain is best suited for the Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) structure. I have a lot to learn about how to properly structure and implement a DAO, but I realize that DAOs cannot exist without a Byzantine Fault Tolerant (BFT) system like a proper tokenized state-machine.

One last point I'd like to put out there, just to get it out of my brain. I anticipate that Flarnchain will be an ecosystem dependent on a two token system. The "Flarncoin" and The "FlarnDAO Token". The Flarncoin will be the primary state transfer crypto-currency, the utility token that captures and transfers value. The FlarnDAO token will be the governance token for voting and governance.

The question of course, is can Flarncoin just encompass everything? I do know one thing, I think that Flarnchain.com should be the place to use Flarncoin, and Flarnchain.io is the place to understand the mysteries of the FlarnDAO Token.
