A really simple platforming indie game is what we can tell about Outrunner. The great thing that often happen in indie games: a feeling perfectly describing how the game was envisioned. The sad thing that happens in these same games: that feeling goes away after a few levels. This is the case, although the game doesn't suck.
Is the game great? No, certainly not. But it's still straightforward platforming (although it has nothing to outrun, weirdly enough). Other than a couple of drawn-out levels, level simplicity makes for a winning formula. The kind that just makes you want to run towards the next level.

Regardless, I cannot recommend you play it because it's just not good enough to justify the trouble you're gonna have getting it. The game has been removed from the Steam store. There are no working keys left. It is not for sale anywhere else. The only way you could get a copy would be by pirating it or asking for a DRM free version from the developr.
I don't know how I got this game, but I'm glad I did. It felt like playing someone's just-for-fun experiment. This isn't something I've felt ever since the GameMaker 8 community was shut down. The community forums on Steam still exist, so I stopped by just to post how I enjoyed playing their game.
If it was free and easy to get, I'd recommend playing Outrunner. But right now it is stuck in the limbo along with so many other OKi'sh games.
