I hope this message finds you well, if not, blame God for not leaving us with an exact instruction manual on how to live life! I mean couldn't God of at least given us a hint on what we should and should not be eating for optimal
health ?! ;)
Seriously though, I am happy to report that I am alive and well after my surgery two weeks ago. My defibrillator is now fixed and ideally will be good to go for another 10-15 years. Thanks to all my family, friends and medical staff for all your support through this time, especially my parents who flew out from Virginia to help out.

In this episode I talk about the humility required to receive help from good people around you. Thank you so much to everyone who donated to the GoFundMe started by friend Mitch Slade to help raise funds for my time off after surgery. I am recovering well after my surgery two weeks ago and I talk all about that here. As a full time musician, I do not get any paid time off and the GoFundMe money has been crucial in helping me get through the three weeks I was required to take off from playing music.
