Those are the cryptocurrency adoption rankings for 2022. The white bar at the end symbolizes tax friendliness as to how strictly a country aims to tax crypto in citizens. That's the most important bar for now, the first dark blue bar shows crypto adoption and encouragement in public by public figures such as membes of the government, celebrities, and the amount of events that're hosted nationally.
I'm most surprised by the UAE since they operate strictly under an islamic government. Regardless, singapore and switzerland are completely expected to be in places 1 and 2 as they're very commonly hubspots for bankers and rich people - that's their reputation I'd assume - ofcourse I'm just some random dude writing articles, so I could very much be wrong.
Regardless, with the upbringing of these nations targetting crypto so heavily, I assume that these countries will continue to become increasingly important in the future as crypto will only continue to shoot up in adoption due to the ETFs that're currently pending requests in the U.S.
I look forward to seeing what real life projects are backed by massive companies in the top 3 countries. Crypto based skyscrapers might be a thing very, very soon.
If I had 3 million dollars today, I'd probably move to one of those top 3 countries as they're very lenient in terms of taxes for crypto holders. Not only that but I'd also likely be able to diversify my wealth into a few cold wallets to maintain my wealth with APY staking - some legitimate services like trustwallet offer upto 20% APY for tokens that're slightly risky to hold, but they offer lower rates like 10% for xrp staking in which I would 100% participate in.
I suppose I'd probably do it like this:
25% of that 3M would be in: 7% Bitcoin, 2% XRP, and 1% in Litecoin. I chose litecoin here because I'm confident in it's ability to rapidly go from 1% of my portfolio to 3% overnight. That's just how volatile Litecoin is, and I'd be willing to take the risk of 300% returns for 50% risk.
Regardless, enough with the hypotheticals, crypto is expanding by the day and will continue to become a centered part of every countries' internal economy. 1 trillion in the crypto economy will soon be 10 trillion.
