So, today I want to dive into something that’s been on my radar lately—Story Blockchain. If you haven’t heard of it yet, Story is the first blockchain focused on intellectual property (IP). Yeah, it’s a whole new narrative in the crypto space, and honestly, it’s been making some serious waves lately.
Despite the overall crypto market being pretty meh, the price of IP (Story’s native token) has been climbing. Why? Well, a big reason is that it recently got listed on Kraken, one of the biggest centralized exchanges out there. And you know what that means—more exposure, more buyers, and boom, the price goes up. But that’s not all. Story has also been integrated into the Orderly Protocol, and there’s a ton of development happening behind the scenes.
Now, here’s where it gets interesting for me personally. I’ve been experimenting with some of the protocols on Story, and let me tell you, the opportunities are wild. I’m currently using Unleash Protocol (a lending/borrowing platform), PiperX (a decentralized exchange), and Story Hunt (another DEX alternative). Here’s my strategy (and no, this isn’t financial advice—just sharing my thought process!):

I borrowed some IP using ETH and USDC as collateral (at around 10% interest).

I swapped some of that IP for ETH, betting that ETH will catch up to other tokens that have pumped more recently.

I also swapped some IP for USDC and staked it in a liquidity pool on Story Hunt, earning a juicy 65% interest!
Why? Because I think the current pump in IP is partly due to the Kraken listing hype, and once that cools down, the price might dip. If that happens, I’ll be able to buy back more IP than I initially borrowed, all while earning interest. It’s a win-win... if it works out, of course.
