In reality, most of the well-known coins are linked to the people who created them: AVAX, SOL, XRP... That's the beauty of BTC. As we do not know who Satoshi is, BTC will not dump if he dies or leaves crypto. Apart from BTC, the coins which will survive their creators are the ones which are really community-driven, e.g., XTZ or ATOM.
Before investing in a coin, it is worth checking:
- If it depends on one or a few guys.
- If the creator is very well-known.
- If there is a company behind...
If the answer is yes to one of these questions, it is likely that it will not survive its creator.
Cryptos which are too much linked to one or a few persons are like small companies which would not survive the departure of their boss.
