The Ethereum (ETH) Merge process started yesterdat Sept. 7 with Bellatrix upgrade. After some doubts, more than 90% of ETH clients would have updated their validators, which is kind of good news. However, as it is currently risky to make DeFi on Ethereum blockchain, and as Ethereum has accounts for more than 50% of otal DeFi TVL so far, it seems a bit challenging to make money on DeFi currently, except if you follow simple rules:
1) Do not currently use Ethereum blockchain, or do not trade ETH on EVM-compatible blockchains like Binance (BSC) before the Merge is complete.
2) Avoid the bridges, since it is currently more risky than ever to use these bridges which were already a bit risky to use before The Merge started.
3) Identify the few coins or tokens linked to DeFi chains which are currently growing in TVL... Which is not the case of most of the top blockchains:

Among the top 10 blockchains above, only Arbitrum has grown in the last 30 days... So it might be worth looking at their DeFi protocols, for instance GMX.io. The GMX token itself has already pumped a lot, but you can more safely invest into GLP (please DYOR) and on top of that using Arbitrum blockchain could make you eligible for their potential upcoming airdrop...
