Most people are using faucets wrong

Crypto faucets pay nowhere near the same as a regular job, but with the ability to choose your own hours, location and tasks they can be a decent way of making some spare income on the side. It is a common belief that they are completely unprofitable or scams, while this is true in some cases it will not be a problem if you know how to spot the common traps and avoid them. Over the last two months i made $180 usd, in crypto in my spare time, mainly from faucets and investing it in the right coins (40% xmr, 30% ltc, 25% btc, 5% other, gain: +20% last 30 days).

The first mistake people make is settling for the first faucet they stumble upon. From the dozens of faucets i visited, half of them were scams, many had unobtainable withdrawal fees and/or dismal pay. The first worthwhile faucet i found was Cointiply, which brings me on to the second mistake people often make. Most faucets have a lot of options to make very little money, Cointiply is no different. Don't bother with the PTC ads or the videos, they will earn you mere cents. As with most faucets, surveys and installing apps is where the money is at, offers through CPX research paid particularly well on this site. At first the pay will be mediocre, maybe a few $0.8 surveys appearing day, but this changes once they collect more information on your demographic. After a month i was getting multiple $1-2 surveys a day, even some $5 surveys making an occasional appearance. After $3 worth you will be able to withdraw to bitcoin or altcoin wallets or hold your balance for 5% PA interest.

The other worthwhile faucet i discovered was GG2U. If you are after app installation offers rather than surveys (particularly gaming offers) then you should use this faucet instead as that is its main focus and will pay you a higher percentage of the completion reward compared to other faucets for this. The withdrawal limit is higher at $7 and the only supported cryptocurrency is BTC, but the offer payouts make up for this. I recently completed their game of kings offer for $40, you are given 35 days to complete it but i only needed 20, playing about 1 hour a day. It should also be noted that GG2U has much better customer support than the average faucet.

The final major mistake i see people make is not making use of the free bonuses the faucets give you. i'm not talking about the free hourly / daily spins that most faucets provide, but free multiplication of your earnings or withdrawals. On cointiply whenever you earn coins you also earn contipoints for free, these can be redeemed for pods which contain permanent or temporary boosts to your earnings between 1% and 7% each. The permanant boosts should always be active, and when you know you are about to complete a high paying survey you can switch tabs and activate as many high percent temporary boosts as possible. To illustrate my point, here are all my payments sorted by value. Two of them on the first page are from free boosts that 90% of people have no clue exist.

GG2U also has free bonuses, every 5 times you withdraw you get $1 to $3 for free. To make full use of this all you have to do is withdraw the minimum every time and you will earn 5% more than otherwise.

If you are interested in these faucets you can try them out by clicking on Cointiply or GG2U. I have already published a more detailed article on Cointiply and plan to do the same for GG2U once i have completed more offers there. Alternatively you could go on your own search, i can tell you from experience most of them will waste your time but you could find some good, honest faucets.
