The water used for brewing is a blend of two natural waters: the well water from the company's own well near its own fields (hard water) and the spring water from the company's own mountain (soft water). This natural water is used for everything from washing rice to washing tanks, and the company also manages its 100-hectare (100-mile) mountain in order to protect the water. The company has installed equipment that meets strict water quality standards for the treatment of wastewater from washing rice and washing bottles, and the percentage of reusable bottles that can be washed and reused exceeds 95%.
