Back in 2018, which is about when I first discovered cryptocurrencies of course faucethub was absolutely huge. Just about every faucet was attached to it. The main reasoning is probably because they actually provided script for people that wanted to create their own faucets. Their supposed successor FaucetPay.io also provides that scripting, which is part of the reason I would guess they are so popular. Of course, I can't have an opinion on it one or the other since the entirety of the USA is completely left out of that particular faucet. Meanwhile, I'm fully aware that not all of us have experience basic or otherwise when it comes to scripting lol so I'll make the section about scripting in this article as short as possible. Basically, the script provided by FaucetPay.io is written in such a way that the program defaults to using that site as the payment platform. And without some background in scripting rewriting it to include other payment platforms would be pretty difficult.

Step in Telegram. Did you know that it's fairly simple to create a bot via Telegram for a faucet? Or a PTC Bot? Lol, back when I first started I personally never would have imagined. But for those of us in the USA it opens a door that was previously closed with FaucetHub's closing down and FaucetPay.io being unable to accommodate us those with little to no experience scripting don't have any option but to look for new ways to gain free crypto.
Airdrops are really nice, when you can fulfill all of the requirements and when they aren't scams. Did you know many airdrops actually require more then a simple sign up to a website? Often they require not only so many referrals, but also a verified account with whatever platform you are required to sign up with. A lot of them also require you to be able to follow them, share content, subscribe via social media. Who knew social media would have such an influence on who could own crypto and who would be completely left out of the loop?
Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, Youtube, Medium, and let's not forget that having a good Gmail account also counts as a social media site. So, often times you are limited just by not having social media. I suppose it makes sense. After all what the government doesn't control, the media does. Well, the media that isn't being paid off by the government anyways.
Meanwhile, me being me I only just recently gave in and created a Telegram account and my goodness. The amount of faucets, investment bots, airdrops, using this media in particular! Don't get me wrong I'm not saying this is good or bad. After all Americans had to turn somewhere. Do you know how hard it is to find good faucet scripting for a website? Anyways, I personally prefer it if I can keep my social media simplified. However, I'm glad I finally broke down and started implementing social into my Crypto journey.
Social media is definitely forming and shaping this journey so much more then I ever thought possible. And I am so glad I opened up that door and walked through it to explore..I'm adventurous by nature and this has always been a fun and exciting journey for me. So even if you aren't huge on Social media I would really encourage you to open up some of those doors. I prefer to test things before writing about them on here, so I will probably write about certain programs specifically as they pay out and as I gain more experience with them.
