To build houses.

To build houses.

Nothing is scarce,

scarcity doesn't exist in nature.

The bird isn't scarce, nor the river, nor the sea.
Stones, wood,
sand, and earth aren't scarce. Gold and diamonds are,
serving only for the common necks of the common. So there's more than one fish
per person, and more than three lettuce leaves
per person, and plenty of land and more than enough
material to build houses.

If it weren't for gravity, tons of peas, bread, seeds,
shoes, hats, lighters, and books would float in space.

Then comes the naive question,
the question a simple-minded man
asks: how can there be an old man hungry, a girl without a roof over her head, a mouth without bread,
a head without a hat, a hand without a book,
a woman without fire, feet without leather?

Those who have seized everything have a
simple explanation: you have to work.

Those who work all day know that
is a lie. But, come, sit next to me,
let's watch TV together, what's the news saying?

Oh yes, the dollar. Oh yes, the debt. Oh yes, the country risk.
Oh yes, international trade. Yes,
how foolish we are. It's just that we don't know anything. That we have to pick up a shovel, they say.

And humanity has been picking up picks and shovels and nets and swords for so many centuries. But, shh, let's listen
to those who know. We have to work. Shh. Shh.

Excuse the rant, it's just that I'm ignorant.
