In these days of pandemic, personal care and social distancing, I have thought a lot about Art. Really, do you know what Art is ...?

I have been asking myself this question, not because I am what today is called an "artist" but because it has caught my attention how we have manipulated the word. A generic and correct definition would be: "it is a means by which an individual expresses feelings, thoughts and ideas".

We are used to feeling far from that medium, we leave it to the "artists".

What a surprise, when I realize that in that adjective we include everything from sculptors to deified singers, through football players or writers who have nothing to tell other than novels that extol exciting stories, in which the most chilling shake hands. attitudes of the human being, characters who are dedicated to showing us their human misery under the caliber of their works, to shock the minds and hearts of this society, selling the "anything goes" and "is fine", meanwhile, this society lives the dreams , lives and emotions of others.

Someone said that Art IS ONLY ART WHEN IT HEALS, when it liberates the best of the human being, when it generates beauty, harmony, when it is able to bring out a burst of color and inner presence. True Art becomes the catalyst of Love, infuses the individual with Love for all humanity, transcending the "art of the ego", which is nothing more than the impulses of what is learned from the instincts, made by any means, to express what that does not heal.

Considering the Art that heals, one of them and more important is the Art of Taking Responsibility for oneself. This Art does not need special abilities, although that may be one of the effects, the development of unexplored abilities, but it does need commitment, and this is not with anyone but with oneself. For this, you need an environment that facilitates this personal space and to be able to develop this difficult but enriching Art of Taking Responsibility for yourself. Now, we have a unique and important opportunity to become a society committed to the individual and to provide the right environment for it with its many projects; And most importantly, our project is a development of human potential par excellence, in which resources are not only going to be at an economic level, it is more transcendent, it is the opportunity for growth, for evolution that goes beyond the physical, material, it is an opportunity to recover our true treasure, our validity as a person, making Love and Intelligence the true engine of our family, social and cultural system, and let us all make the Arches that would motivate us the true Art in everything we do: the Art that Heals.

It is not a dream, it is something that we can do together, it is not delegating responsibility to others that frees us, if not approaching the problems that affect our human potential, looking them in the face and not elsewhere, delegating our responsibility to people who only think and act against our evolution and development. Change and evolution come when you are ready.
