Lepidoptera

The night is green in her soul,
she feeds on shadows
and of stars.
I pass the time like one
chained pet, docile,
in my step
The sand sinks my feet
and draw the shadows of my fingers.
The night is long as a road
the gray city slumbers under eyelids
high eaves.
In the waters the dim flickers
street lantern light, distorted
in the sway of small waves.
A silence numbs my feet
on the shimmering sand
it's like walking barefoot
on visible, tired lepidoptera
at the edge of the beach.
Your warm hand shelters me from the cold
at night, we watch the stars fall
of desires... only time
it will tell us if they are met.
... and we wonder like children,
in the years of innocence where will there be
fallen? in the waters, on the mast
of a ship as a light to illuminate
the journey of him or in the heart of the mirror
where tomorrow your face will appear
bathed in stars
The night is long as a road,
On its shores morning surprised us.
with a yellow halo on your forehead.
