A dignified existence

A dignified existence

By espacioreal | elespacioreal | 25 Sep 2021

I almost always have to run
after the money that goes away
As if we were two
opposite poles
I don't have the luck of others
who enjoy it
spending piecework
I get it and lose it
Without lasting long
And I'm always doing the math
Is that I lack
I do not spare
I have a bad cave about it
I hope luck changes me
Not that I'm complaining
But the pig is poorly distributed
And they pay me little for my work
I dream of making ends meet
smoothly
Being able to sleep at night
without being haunted by debts
I am a common citizen
But I have my vices
I like cheese bread
And the fizzy drinks
For none of that reaches me
Sometimes I even walk by
Because I have a bad habit
to wake up hungry
So I'm almost to the bone
For lack of those miserable bills
That I lack and others have excess
If God really existed
This would not be possible
Each would have their own
At least to take away
a dignified existence
Before dying of old
Life is not fair
We poor people know that
To whom the money
barks at us from afar
And then he runs away
