Good day to all. The whole financial market is still at a slump. But everything happened the pas week ain't all bad news. So here's some awesome news about crypto adoption to remind us where crypto is heading in the long run.
Lets take a look at which institutes, companies or local shops started accepting crypto this past week.
Abra Wallet Announces Crypto Card On AMEX
On a press release dated 13th of June, 2022, digital financial services company Abra added their own crypto card on the American Express network, a global payments company.
The crypto credit card will offer user's reward's in cryptocurrency for every purchase made. The card will also offer several benefits from the American Express Network, including Amex Offers (for shopping, travel, dining, services, entertainment, etc.), presale ticket access, Global Dining benefits, and purchase protections.
Abra's crypto credit card will be available late 2022.
Binance Partners With "Super App Enabler" Splyt
The worlds largest crypto exchange Binance partnered with Splyt, a super app enabler allowing Binance's 90 million users in over 150 countries to use their crypto for ride hailing services & also food delivery wherever they are. The partnership makes Binance the first ever crypto company to offer ride hailing to it's platform.
The Splyt platform, a leading B2B global lifestyle services network with user's from 2000 cities over 150 country's integrates ride hailing, transfer, scooter, bike sharing and experience providers into super apps and travel platforms. This enables user's a seamless experience without downloading additional apps.
The announcement was made on a press release on June 14, 2022.
Spanish Airline To Accept Bitcoin Payments
Spanish airline company Vueling, has partnered with BitPay, a global provider for cryptocurrency payment services have partnered allowing the airline's customers to pay in crypto. Customers will be able to tickets from more than a hundred wallets and 13 different cryptocurrencies. Some accepted cryptocurrencies are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Litecoin and Shiba Inu.
The service will be available at the beginning of 2023. The announcement was made on 16th of June. 2022.
That's all the adoption news I found. It's quite less than last week but there was also news on some gas stations in Florida that started accepting Bitcoin Cash and BCH ATM machines installed in the Caribbean but I couldn't find the source. Just a tweet from Mr. Roger Ver.
