If you've ever seen an ad for the Current app your first thought was most likely that it was probably a total scam. Secondly, a total waste of time. But let me tell you, after a year of using the current app on two of my phones, cashing out at least twice a month per phone, it is entirely legitimate and completely worth it!
I use the current app every single day, I look at it similarly to a second job, though you don't have to, I'm just weird like that. It gives you the opportunity to earn free PayPal cash, gift cards and yes, even Bitcoin through Coinbase!
Personally I've always chose the PayPal option, that way I could take the money and choose which platform I purchased my Bitcoin from. Also, if I needed the money for something else at that time, it was nice to have the extra money. It gave me an extra $80.00 a month between my two phones. And I personally don't even take advantage of every point earning method that's on the platform.
Music:
You can earn points by listening to music! If you're anything like me though you like to choose your own music. Though there's what seems like a billion different stations to choose from, I personally just choose a station keep it on the lowest volume (it cannot be on zero) and put on my headphones and play what I actually want to play. lol
Make sure to check in at least once every hour to keep your music earning status active otherwise you have to watch a short ad to check in again. Which isn't a big deal, sometimes I forget and have to do this myself.
Ads:
At the moment of writing this I'm currently taking advatange of Current's ad watching feature. I do other things and just click the x button and watch new ads. I don't give them much attention but they give me points that allow me to earn money or Bitcoin that funds my future.
The ads do run out so I do it once in the morning and once in the evening. There are some rare days where ads aren't available. They don't happen often though, maybe once a month. But there are still many other features on the app.
Surveys:
You can take surveys! These offer a great deal of points if you pass the entry level of the survey. Which is actually a lot easier to do on Current I've found then on other survey platforms. And if you don't pass they still reward you with 8 points which is more than the one or zero points that other platforms offer you for not be eligible to take a certain survey.
I should honestly take advantage of this feature more, I just have the attention span of a squirrel.
Games:
If you're someone who loves to play phone games this ones for you, you get rewarded for the amount of time you spend on a certain phone game. And the points offered through this feature are pretty high. I took advantage of this feature a lot at the start of my Current journey, but quickly realized I was developing a phone game addiction and quickly decided to not continue down that path as it was something I wasn't into to start with.
But if it's something you're already into, something you already enjoy spending your time doing, then I say feel free to earn points this way, you'll earn points faster and make more money for your PayPal, gift cards or even Bitcoin!
Conclusion:
No matter if you're trying to earn money, bitcoin or gift cards. Current is an amazing way to get you there. It's a little side hustle that is totally worth your time if you actually make it a part of your daily habits. If you put time into it, it will reward you. If you do it for one day and ignore it you won't see any benefits. So stick with it and you'll be on your way to earning whatever it is your shooting for.
