Reading this book I understood for the first time the concept of stock to flow. Good money needs to have a high stock to flow ratio. In other words, the stockpile must be high, and the rate at which the stockpile grows over time must be small. Such a money is a good store of value.

Saifedean Ammous goes into much detail how Bitcoin already is the hardest money available and already possesses all the necessary properties to serve as sovereign money.

I learned a great deal about the history of money, and how sound money always has been tied to prosperous times and freedom.

This book is a must read. My own copy looks a little rough, lots of markings in it. I tend to love stuff to bits once my love engine gets going.
