Despite regulatory uncertainty, the creators of Facebook LibraCoin are continuing to work on it. The band recently released a second roadmap.

Today, we do not know yet when Libra will see the light of day. Despite this, its designers are still building a community around the project. A recent blog post by programmers suggests that the project is still working. Not only that - its technology tests are already underway.

Roadmap covers work stages related to launching the mainnet, its launch criteria, as well as issues of educating the community.

Eight validator nodes are already operating under the LibraCoin testnet. The development team is also working on establishing inspection nodes for non-technical members who can hire an external team to support their node.

Today, the exact list of validators is not known. We only know that the Libra Association has left a good deal of the first members, including PayPal and MasterCard. Ultimately, the former should be one hundred.

Delays and uncertain future
It is still unknown when LibraCoin will appear on the market. In addition, there is another obstacle for the creators - going through the regulatory phase. Today, politicians and officials in the US and Europe agree that Facebook's stablecoin is dangerous to the financial stability of their countries.

It can be suspected that much of 2020 will be occupied by all sorts of preparations - both technological and legal. If you believe the media reports, they are due to be completed by June 2020. Patrick Ellis, a member of the board of the Libra Association, however, recently stated that there is no clear plan to launch. This opinion coincides with other words of Mark Zuckerberg a few months ago.

LibraCoin will also have strong competition at the start. Next year we will also see the digital yuan of the People's Bank of China on the market. In addition, the European Central Bank is working on the digitized euro, which is also expected to establish project details by mid-2020.
