AHARGANA SUTA

The title is taken from Sanskrit which means; moon (ahargana) and princess (suta). Which represents this illustration perfectly, a woman sitting on an object that has a shape like a crescent moon.

In Hinduism, the crescent has the meaning of life-giving in the sacred script called Ardhachandra. Without Ardhachandra (crescent moon), sacred characters would not have magical powers. Sacred letters are usually used as an antidote to danger and also as a means of medicine.

Meanwhile for women, in Sanskrit is "Svanittha", where the word "Sva" means alone, and "Nittha" means holy. So that Svanittha can be interpreted as purifying oneself; who later develop into "Dharma practitioners" or people who play a broad role in the Dharma. Women also have an important role as a means of manifesting Punarbhava or reincarnation. From here also developed the term Sukla Svanittha, which means "seed" or fetus conceived by humans.

In this illustration, the two meanings mentioned earlier are meant to have a combined meaning as "A person who is able to bring himself to a better form that has power or influence on the surrounding environment". Or it can be reduced to "Positive self-control." This combination of meanings is intended as a prayer for all people in the world so that they can become better independently and become a positive aspect or influence in life in general and as a whole.

All right, enough words from me, I hope my work can be enjoyed.
