vetting students' mid-year remarks

By cryotosensei | diaperfinancingfund | 11 May 2023

one of the many invisible tasks teachers have to do is to vet the semestral remarks of students that belong to their colleagues from other departments. for better or for worse, because we teach english, we are seen to be the custodians of the english language. hence, vetting these remarks always falls on my lap. it's a thankless task that i have to go through twice a year.

thankfully, with the advent of chatgpt, i find that vetting remarks is less painful than before since i can ask chatgpt to suggest edits for my colleagues' remarks and then polish its inputs. this frees up time for me to think about how i can level up the writing skills of my colleagues. because our mind remembers three things easily, i decided to pick up three pertinent points for each of my colleagues to learn. here are my rather professional-looking feedback forms:

honestly, i quite enjoyed consolidating the things i wished to highlight to my colleagues and presenting them in an easily digestible table format. i hope you somewhat enjoyed reading my hard work.
