Dear Colleagues,

In view of Teachers ' Day celebrations on 3rd September 2026, the P3-P6 prefects are keen to carry out Project Gratitude. Specifically, they will man a booth during their recess time so that students can make origami animals and pen their well wishes for their beloved teachers. Origami is chosen as an activity because it allows more interaction time between the prefects and their schoolmates. We also hope that students get to hone their Growth Mindset as they persevere at undertaking the steps required to fold an origami. Lastly, the One Ocean exhibition at Science Centre also invites guests to fold origami marine creatures, which might serve as an useful extension for some of our students.

The prefects have been informed to work with one another to ensure that they take turns to have their recess before reporting to the booth. They will be in charge of their specific recess timing.
