I have spent two months here! A month may be short but is apparently long enough for me to discern changes in my attitude towards Publish0x.

I came here to share my writing and earn some crypto but found a second home instead. I still recall the days in which I tried to rationalize the percentage of the tip I gave an author, trying to optimize my share of the tip as much as possible. But after getting to know some people here, I gradually found it difficult to take more than the 20% of the tip that was allocated to the reader. Somehow, it didn't feel right for me to "deprive" my friends of their rightful share of the tip. So these days, I just click on the Tip button and feel good about my generosity, LOL. And this is how I have to know that I will get 0.0002 AMPL whenever I tip my fellow author here.

Similarly, I have adopted the habit of leaving a comment along with a tip. As an author, I feel heartened that a reader cared enough to type a few words of encouragement or share his perspective, so I will like to pay it forward. Of course, I cannot do this for all the articles because I usually use Publish0x whenever I can catch a spare moment or two during work but I try to write as much as I can.

As for Publish0x's writing contests, I did not manage to emerge as one of the winners for the SwapSpace competition. But thanks to hifi.crypto, I won USD$25 worth of Bitcoin because he generously organized a competition in which I was awarded this grand prize because I left a comment on his article and subscribed to his newsletter. So I did get a payout in August too. Hip hip hooray! This really cemented my love for Publish0x. I just feel that it is brimming with possibilities and all I have to do is to turn on my antennae.

And lastly, the moment you have been waiting for. So how much have I earned from my articles in August? Well, I wrote a total of 34 articles and garnered $10.81. Which is way below minimum wage, if you come to think about it. Nonetheless, this still has not dampened my enthusiasm for writing. Rather, I am proud of myself for integrating writing into my daily routine. Of course, some articles do much better than others, so moving forward, I really need to think about how I can level up the quality of my articles. While I don't think I am posting for the sake of posting, some readers may feel that my articles are slightly lacking in substance. So this is something that I will need to think about.

To end things on a positive note, one of my articles apparently struck a chord with the readers here as it received 66 likes! I am determined not to rest on my laurels and aim to write other articles that will surpass this small success!
