We thank you for your child / ward’s involvement in our pilot Project T.E.S (Think.Eat.Save) Eco-Stewards project.
He / she has not only interacted with sustainability professionals helming the black soldier fly (BSF) larvae and the eco-enzyme composting projects, but also harvested compost and frass (droppings from the larvae) that will be ready for use as fertilizer in two weeks’ time. Through this process, the students have learnt to step out of their comfort zone and observe science in action.
We have received a request from our vendor to host a delegate comprising teachers from Johor and NIE staff members next Monday. As such, we would like to request your child / ward to participate in an additional session that involves a new batch of BSF larvae. We hope to receive a favourable response from you because this will be a good opportunity for your child / ward to interact with professionals beyond our classroom setting.
