Tomorrow is Christmas, best wishes to you all!!

When I was a child, Christmas had an almost magical meaning, all those lights, colored trees, the holidays and of course the expectation of Santa's arrival with the gifts opening on 25th morning! I remember waiting about those moments for most of the year.

Growing up I have lost almost all those emotions, now I consider it a time to spend with family enjoying their company.

Having no sons or daughters I probably can't fully enjoy it, although it is always a huge pleasure to see those illuminated eyes on children's faces, who are waiting for the bearded man dressed in red & white who brings him gifts during the night, as happened to me long time ago.

A very personal memory in this period goes to my good old dad, who on Christmas Eve nine years ago left us after years of suffering. My thought is always with him and his memory arouses strong and indescribable emotions in me.

You too will have lived experiences similar to mine for better or worse, I think that we needs to know how to take all the best things and enjoying fully and the worst ones to accept them for what they are and leave them behind.

I wish you all the best in life, even if this period is only an excuse because similar thoughts can be made at any day of the year, but considering the opportunity I am here to reiterate it!

Merry Christmas to you all! Enjoy the holidays, if you have it, have fun and do party with your loved ones!

A special thought goes to those who do not have the opportunity to celebrate and are not so fortunate like us, I know very well that it's a utopia, but the hope that one day all human beings will have the same opportunities is always alive in me.

Working in a community, my heart cries to see people who cannot spend these days at home because they are not feeling well, together with my colleagues we try to make them feel our closeness in the best possible way, cuddle them a bit with gifts and looking for to take them for a ride to various parties to have fun.

Best wishes for happy holidays also to those who do not celebrate for different religious reasons or by choice. I am not a believer but whatever belief you have, remember that we are all sisters and brothers. Life, as far as I know, is only one, let's enjoy it at the highest level and try to do our best to live it at the best every second that passes!

Domani é Natale, auguroni a tutti!!

Quando ero piccino il Natale aveva un significato quasi magico, tutte quelle luci, gli alberi colorati, le vacanze e naturalmente l'attesa dell'arrivo di Babbo Natale con susseguente apertura dei regali la mattina del 25! Ricordo che aspettavo quei momenti per buona parte dell'anno.

Crescendo ho perso quasi del tutto quelle emozioni, ora lo considero un momento da passare con i famigliari e godermi la loro compagnia.

Non avendo figli probabilmente non riesco a godermela appieno, anche se é sempre un enorme piacere vedere quegli sguardi illuminati sui volti dei bambini che attendono l'uomo barbuto vestito di bianco e rosso che gli porti i regali durante la notte, come capitava a me tanto tempo fa.

Un ricordo molto personale in questo periodo va al mio buon vecchio papà, il quale la vigilia di Natale di nove anni fa ci ha lasciati dopo anni passati a soffrire. Il mio pensiero é sempre con lui ed il suo ricordo suscita in me emozioni forti ed indescrivibili.

Anche voi avrete vissuto esperienze simili alle mie nel bene e nel male, penso che bisogni saper prendere tutte le cose migliore e godersele appieno e quelle peggiori accettarle per quello che sono e lasciarsele alle spalle.

Vi auguro tutto il meglio nella vita, anche se questo periodo é soltanto un pretesto perché pensieri simili possono essere fatti in qualsiasi giorno dell'anno, ma vista l'occasione eccomi qui a ribadirlo!

Buon natale a tutti! Godetevi le vacanze, se le avete, divertitevi e fate tanta festa con i vostri cari!

Un pensiero particolare va a chi non ha le possibilità di festeggiare ed é meno fortunato di noi so benissimo che purtroppo é un'utopia, ma la speranza che un giorno tutti gli esseri umani abbiano le stesse opportunità é sempre vivo in me.

Lavorando in una comunità mi piange il cuore vedere persone che non possono passare questi giorni a casa perché stanno poco bene, assieme ai miei colleghi cerchiamo di fargli sentire la nostra vicinanza nel miglior modo possibile, coccolandoli un po' con regali e cercando di portarli a fare un giro per le varie feste per svagarsi.

Un augurio di buone feste anche a chi non festeggia per motivi religiosi differenti o per scelta. Io non sono credente ma qualunque credenza abbiate ricordatevi che siamo tutti sorelle e fratelli. Di vita, per quanto sono a conoscenza, ne abbiamo soltanto una, godiamocela al massimo e cerchiamo di fare del nostro meglio per sfruttarla ogni secondo che passa!
