What is a life lived for nothing other than itself?
What does it mean to live life for Life’s sake?
To pursue anything and everything that you desire… see where it leads not from the outset but through pursuit. You cannot possibly know where any “path” leads until you walk it but you probably have a good idea what will generally come from walking the same direction you have been up until now….
until you consider a hard fork…
maybe toward something completely insane or “illogical” but you don’t KNOW it to be insane or illogical until you have actually GONE that route… and you just might find that the most “insane” and “illogical” thing to have done was not take the hard fork sooner!
PLAY!
Experiment and see what comes - pursue that which you find yourself innately curious about - maybe try to draw, to write or to sing, to play an instrument or none of these.
Try investing, play with stocks, penny stocks or expensive investments, play with money, play with giving it away and play with accumulating it, play with being frugal and play with being lavish or none of these.
Try to start a business, or work for one you like, maybe work for one you hate or try unemployment or none of these.
Try to find your soul or try to lose it again, try to be religious, catholic, muslim or new-agey. Over-indulge yourself, or live an austere life, join a cult or live in isolation… climb a mountain, swim a sea, play a sport you’ve never tried… or don't.
Do anything and everything that you desire… with no ulterior motive but to SEE.
Life is there for the making. So really, what is it? Why are you waiting?
What would you do, if you weren't so preoccupied with what you've convinced yourself you SHOULD DO?
Et Moi?
I would leave all my "things"
get a motorcycle licence,
a bike and tent,
head west to the coast of Canada,
then all the way
to South America
or wherever Life takes me
SO the intention is there - now over the next six months all that remains is to tie up all loose ends neatly in order to honourably recognize the end of all personal, emotional, spiritual, economic, and physical preoccupations (attachments) I have adopted for myself in this life.
