I used to wish I could seamlessly and simply move what little crypto assets I have between different blockchains. But wait, hold up. I did not know that many to begin with. That is not the case here though, I digress…
Well, I came across this thing called Across Protocol and turns out it was the exact thing I was looking for to make this happen. You know the thing with Ethereum and gas fees steep enough to give you a heart burn, Across Protocol handles that without any hassle.
What is Across Protocol?
Across Protocol is just like a vehicle to carry your digital currencies from one blockchain to the other. It allows you to transfer your digital assets between different networks with ease and security. Even a newbie who is just getting started in De-Fi, someone like me, can navigate this decentralised bridge. That is how easy it is.
Why Should I Choose Across Protocol?
First, let me point out that the Across Protocol bridge means no complex procedure or waiting times. Well, according to what I have read in some places, there are waiting times, I did not experience this as Across is the first I am using. I used Straddl, a very user-friendly interface to bridge, and it took 2 freaking seconds.
Second, using Across Protocol to connect blockchains increases liquidity which inevitably leads to better prices and efficient trades. Third, and the one I find most pleasant because I am all about growth, is the community driven governance. This ensures transparency and we all know how much a community empowers its users. In this world of Crypto, community is everything.
The ACX Token and Why I Want it
Just like most communities, the Across Protocol has its own token used to incentivize liquidity providers, secure the network and participate in government decisions. I say, as a young girl who is all about hard work and reward, this is another favourite for me. Holding these tokens makes you an active member of the community which means that you can contribute to the platform’s growth.
Now, I don’t know about you but I do like being a part of growth especially in crypto. Watching projects start and go through the process, then take off is very satisfying. Especially when they have a system in place to reward their members.
Do I have expectations regarding this platform? I do. I know that they will play a role in shaping the future of interoperability. It is already obvious with the easy navigation and other features of this platform.
Do I have a goal regarding this? I have one. To make the most of it. I do want to hold a few of these tokens, as many as I can anyway. I am ready for this. The question is, are you?
