Beware! COVID-19 Phishing Scams Are All over the Dark Web - reports

A word to the wise: don't buy your COVID -19 vaccines online.

They are definitely fake, man.

Leave those doses for the healthcare workers and vulnerable adults.

Two security research firms have seen a huge uptick in COVID-19 vaccine scams. Some ask for cryptocurrency payment ($250 worth) while others just ask you to sign into something that steals your credentials. They prey upon you because they know that you are really afraid of getting sick. And good for you. Seriously, please try to stay safe, but way for doctors and public health authorities to give you the vaccine and don't get sucked in.

In November alone over 1000+ new domain names were registered connected to covid or corona virus vaccines and most are likely to be scams. As this article says, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Beware! Stay safe! Wash your hands! Don't touch your face.
