Eagle feather brings to memory cowboys and Indians. And Indians... well they always bring to memory Yugoslavian actor Gojko Mitić. Here he is on the photo with the eagle feather in his fair.
Why Yugoslavian? Let me tell you why ...
Back in my childhood years, I grew up behind the "Steel Curtain", in the time of propaganda war between the USA and the Soviet Union. One of the accusative arguments against the USA was its treatment of Native Americans. The portrayal of this struggle in the movies was the ideal ideological weapon.
The problem was that being behind the Steel Curtain; the Soviet bloc countries had no access to Native American actors. That's where the Gojko Mitić's star has risen. One must agree, he has a very suitable and attractive appearance for the role of the "defender". Gojko became hugely popular. Men tried to imitate him, women fell in love with him all over the Soviet Bloc.
All his Indian movies were great hits and held their popularity all throughout the sixties. As for me, I literally studied man's anatomy on his body. Yeah, good old times. Gojko Mitić. Eagle feather.
