Ingredients of the recipe:

  • Shrimp/Prawn: Half kg
  • Chili powder: 1 teaspoon (Use for marination)
  • Turmeric powder: As quantity
  • Salt: As taste
  • Ginger & Garlic paste: 1 tea spoon (Use for marination)
  • Lemon juice: Three teaspoons (Use for marination)
  • Hot spices powder (Garam masala): Half teaspoon
  • Cumin powder: Half teaspoon
  • Chopped Onion: 2 Pieces
  • Chopped Tomato: 2 Pieces
  • Chopped Chili: 7 or 8 Pieces
  • Ginger & Garlic paste (for frying): 1 teaspoon
  • Chili powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Black pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
  • Curry leaf:12 to 15
  • Refined oil: For frying

Steps of the recipe:

Step 1
First take 1 teaspoon of ginger and garlic paste, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, black pepper powder, lemon juice, salt and turmeric powder. Mix all with the shrimp and keep marinate for 1 hour.

Step 2
Shallow fry the shrimp with 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan keep them aside.

Step 3
Now add more oil to the pan and heat the oil and fry onion, tomatoes, curry leaves and green chili.

Step 4
Now add ginger and garlic, cumin powder, salt, turmeric powder, hot spice powder (garam masala powder) and remaining chili powder.

Step 5
At the end, add the fried shrimp fishes and cook for two minutes.

Step 6
Serve with coriander leaves decoration.

**Tips of the recipe**

Tips 1
You can adjust spiciness by reducing or adding the amount of Chili Powder.

Tips 2
If you marinated the fish perfectly, shrimp flavors will be enhanced.

Do not add water while cooking the shrimp.
