As I mentioned in a previous post, major hypercar brands had to find innovative ways to showcase their new cars this year, due to the cancelation of the Geneva Motor Show, not just relying on the boring old car journalists but engaging with top car Youtubers and directly on their own channels. Consider one of the top YouTubers has nearly 3 million followers and that is an incredible audience to engage with about new models.

Fresh new technology for the Pagani - Imola includes new active dampers that are interconnected and managed, along with the active aero spoilers, by a new central electronic control unit that’s also in charge of the engine and transmission. Horacia Pagani says this allows quicker, more precise responses, boosting overall performance and reducing lap times.

Cutting weight has also been a chief priority, with the Imola sporting what Pagani claims is a total of 770 new weight-saving parts constructed from either aluminum or titanium to shave the kilos without jeopardizing strength.

Under the rear boot lid, the Huayra’s twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre Mercedes-AMG-sourced V12 lives on, but with power boosted to 608kW and an incredible 1100Nm of torque. Combined with a seven-speed Xtrac sequential transmission that offers even quicker shift times, all the Imola’s might is channeled to the rear wheels.

The second car unveiled is the Huayra BC Roadster an extreme hypercar with aggressive sporty lines, this one will probably give you whiplash, so drive carefully. Here are some more specs on this road-legal beast now available as a convertible with same mighty twin-turbo V12 as mad coupe the fastest, most hard-core drop-top the Italian hypercar-maker has ever built.

Like the Huayra BC Coupe it’s based on, the roofless Pagani adopts its ‘BC’ initials from Benny Caiola – the Ferrari collector who became Pagani’s first customer. Featuring a removable carbon-fiber hard-top, Pagani claims the BC Roadster tips the scales at just 1250kg – only 32kg more than the BC Coupe and 30kg less than the Huayra roadster.

This version also features a, completely redesigned body, the Huayra BC Roadster is claimed to be capable of generating up to 500kg of downforce at 280km/h, mainly thanks to underfloor elements like flaps next to underfloor exhaust pipes that mimic an F1 car’s blown diffuser. This hard-core Huayra gets the same twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre V12 that pumps out an earth-trembling 588kW and 1050Nm of torque and a price tag of around $5 million is no small change even for the wealthiest of people, this is a significant investment and they have all been ordered.

And just for extra carporn satisfaction, here is a full introduction of the new Hypercars from Horacio Pagani himself, the visionary behind the legendary Pagani Automobili company, enjoy.
