DeFiLand Chronicle

My father’s name is Bitcoin and my mother is called Ethereum.

Together, they fought and built the Crypto Kingdom as we know it.

A million times has my father been dead,

and every single time has he resurrected.

Or probably he never died in the first place?

No one can tell.

But his many obituaries are everywhere to be found by anyone willing to look around.

They had their first child -my oldest sibling- named MakerDAO in the year 2015.

Maker became the first ruler of the rapidly developing island called DeFiLand.

During the crypto winter of 2018 and 2019, through 2020,

my other siblings including, Dharma, Uniswap, Yearn.Finance, etc. were also born.

And they were all responsible for the speedy development of DeFiLand.

Bringing new-found prosperity to the entire Kingdom of crypto since the beginning of 2020.

My parents were proud of the development

and gave their full support to the young rulers of DeFiLand and their chiefs.

As DeFiLand grew larger,

the various chiefs were sent to administer all the small but fast-rising villages.

And that is how Yearn Finance became arguably the first King of Yields Village.

One of the most popular and biggest villages in DeFiLand.

He was a great, strong, and successful king

And brought a lot of prosperity to the hard-working farmers of Yields Village.

But he’s growing weak and tired,

and the farmers have decided to retire it for a more vibrant and young king.

And that’s me.

I am Harvest Finance,

The Reigning King of Yields Village,

Protector of all farmers,

and bringer of peace and prosperity,

Born ruler, an undisputed warrior of DeFiLand.

In my right hand is YARM… my staff of blessing.

With it, I shall bless the farmers.

And their children,

and children’s children shall remember the days of my reign.

This is How My Story Started

I am but just 3 months or is it 3 centuries into my reign as king of Yields Village.

Bringing blessings and riches to my farmers.

Joy and happiness filled the land

As the harvest has been more than ever seen before.

My name and words of the prosperity of the farmers of Yields Village spread fast and wide.

Many a farmer from different villages,

across all of DeFiLand and Crypto Kingdom came to us

and we welcomed them into our fold with open arms.

As a young king,

I have learned a lot from my predecessors,

and understand the nuances of leadership.

The prosperity of my farmers was of topmost priority in my heart.

But then, something happened that broke my heart.

A thief and malicious farmer broke through the defenses of Yields Village.

What a wow!

Much millions,

Very lost.

Many thought that will be the end of my reign,

far from it. We've only just got started.

This man has made himself an enemy of my kingdom

This shall not go unresolved.

In the meantime,

I decided I will focus on planning and executing my farmers' compensation plan.

And a recovery plan to get back the lost funds.

And the thief hunting begins…

CryptoPol, DeFi Sheriff,

And bountiful hunters,

All enlisted, and giving a chase!

I will leave no place for thieves in my kingdom

The masked looter will be uncovered.

And until then,
