Yes, I have no shame. But that’s because I wanted to write an article on how you could withdraw sats that you had gained from tips on r/Bitcoin to your Lightning Wallet. At least, my intentions were clear.

A kind Internet stranger really tipped me 500 satoshis!

Without further ado, let’s get started. 

I use Muun, which is a custodial wallet that enables Bitcoin and Lightning Network transactions. So I firstly pressed on the Lightning tab.

Subsequently, I generated a Lightning Invoice by clicking on “Invoice Settings”.

Then, I used the “Sats” tab to fill in the amount of sats I wished to withdraw.

Doing so would help me generate a Lightning Invoice.

I copied this Invoice and went to r/Bitcoin. I zeroed in on the blue “Withdraw” tab. 

I eagerly pasted my Invoice on the “put_invoice_here” field.

Your screen should look like this after you paste your invoice.

Finally, I clicked the “Send” tab at the top right hand corner of the screen and waited for my sats to be deposited into my Muun wallet.

Success! I’m 500 satoshis richer.
